if you elect obama for the next four years, there will be no better than the past four years. i happen to believe that is true, but not very inspiring. it is hard to blame the guy. he wants to get reelected with a pretty narrow cast approach to democratic and independent constituencies. i do not think we will get the kind of framing you would like. i am a little less pessimistic. i do think reality matters. and we will hit a cliff and all kinds of ways. the fed cannot keep printing money and expecting the world to take it or buy treasury notes to fund trillion dollar deficits forever. the economy is slow and going into another dip. i actually think the next president will have a moment between november 7, and i do not know, this summer or fall of 2013 to do a lot. i would bet there is a huge legislative agenda in 2013. i did not really by the gridlock argument. if obama gets reelected, evil have a mandate basically -- he will have a mandate basically the lesser version of bowel- simpson. if romney wins, he will have a mandate for some version of the right and budget, probably

this election is not about the next four years. this election is about the next 40 years. there are 100 reasons to deny barack obama four more years in office. none are more important than defending the freedoms that make this country great. these are the freedoms that we have to fight for, because these are the freedoms that are at stake in this election. fight. do everything you can between now and election day. fight for these kids and grandkids that are here today. fight for our soldiers, who put it all on the line, defending our freedom overseas so they can come home to an america as free as when they left her. let us send a message to the national news media. their coverage of this race is a national disgrace. we have a message for cnn, nbc, abc, cbs -- he will not decide the outcome of this election. we, the people, will decide the outcome of this election. we live in a country that is getting harder to recognize every day. led by a president who mocks our values, belittles our faith, and is threatened by our freedoms. you know it and i know it. barack obama is anot

next question is from beth for jason plummer. >> if president obama wins a second term, he has said he planned to take on immigration reform. in june, he announced his administration would allow children of illegal immigrants, sometimes referred to as dream kids, to stay in the country legally. do you support the dream act, and beyond that, what kind of immigration reform and do you support? should there be a pathway to citizenship for undocumented workers currently in the united states? >> thank you. everyone in this room is probably a descendant of an immigrant came here at some point in time. that is what makes america great, a beacon of hope. we have a lot of people that come to america all the time. i get frustrated when i see people that want to run down america. if america is so bad, if things are so bad, why do so many people want to come here? people want opportunity. a lot of folks are here legally and illegally. that is something we have to address. i would not support the dream act. we need to provide a pathway for citizenship for people who have done good things. the way t

in the next commercial break you have an ad that says barack obama was never a nice guy, he is a radical socialist lunatic who's trying to take your job. the more money did not feed into a larger narrative in a way that i think the romney campaign would have preferred. a second reason why it is less effective now is under sec rules, the super pac campaign are able to get lowest available rate for their advertising right now. super pacs are not allowed to do that. they are spending far more, sometimes three times as much, and to get the same money. did the third reason i think you're seeing things less effective, in the last month or citizens are waking up and spending more dollars. a bunch of people were coming at the last minute. we have not really seen that. the small dollar fund-raising model has been able to expand nicely for obama toward the end. romney has had to spend a good fortune in september going to fund-raisers trying to collect these $2,500 checks. he has been very successful. it really was a strategic disadvantage at that time in the race. we can get into some of the other
